SHLDRS™ began with a simple question: fashion has always shaped the body from the outside - why couldn’t shape begin underneath?

Shoulder pads have long been one of fashion’s most powerful tools, transforming posture, proportion and presence. Yet when they are built into a T-shirt, blouse or sweater, they belong to that one garment. After washing, the padding can shift, crease or lose its original shape.

For those who love shoulder pads and want to wear them every day, not only as part of one particular look, there had to be a better solution.

SHLDRS™ separates the shoulder structure from the clothes themselves. The result is the Shoulder-pad Bra: a reversible second-skin layer with easily removable sculptural shoulder pads. It can be worn directly on the body as a bra or over your own bra, beneath the clothes already in your wardrobe.

Before washing, the shoulder pads can be quickly and easily removed from the internal shoulder pockets, allowing the bra to be washed separately while helping the pads maintain their sculptural shape.

From the moment the Shoulder-pad Bra was created, its creators began wearing it every day. It quickly became something they could no longer imagine their wardrobes without.
